Windy Campbell is founder of Campbell Communications, a results-driven independent public relations practice specializing in strategic communications, content writing and media relations. Prior to establishing Campbell Communications in 2002, Windy held senior account management and media counseling positions in The Martin Agency’s PR division.
Windy understands the value that public relations can play in a company’s brand positioning and reputation. As a senior publicist, she has helped to elevate client brand awareness in industries that include financial services, technology, music, film, healthcare and transportation. As a content writer, she has written feature articles for clients’ bylines, as well as blog posts and other content for websites, social media, presentations and more. Whether working independently or collaborating with marketing agencies, Windy works closely with client and agency teams to achieve project goals and results.
In the community, Windy has served in board leadership capacities for PRSA Richmond, serving in 2020 as chapter president. For several years, her client work has been recognized by PRSA Richmond at the annual Virginia Public Relations Awards, in categories including Feature Articles, Media Relations, Op-Eds and Community Relations.
She is a graduate of Denison University and holds a B.A. in English Literature.
